Google Analytics is free service which is offered by Google, which keeps track of visitors to specific sites/blog. Not only it keeps track of the visitors, but it also does analysis of your visitors under following sections:

c) Map Overlay
d) Traffic Sources Overview
e) Content Overview

It provides the details report for all the above mentioned point.

These websites will generate some HTML/Java Script code and the same you will have to paste in your website of blog.
