SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Tips for Beginners

First of all for all those, who do not know what SEO, (and if they are in internet marketing), SEO is the buzz word for today’s online marketing. This can be understood as methods which can ne used for your websites or blogs to bring to the TOP of search engine like Google.

Most of the internet users do not go beyond few pages of Google search and that’s why there is competition to bring your webpage/blog up in the search ranking. The better the ranking, more people will be visiting you websites/blog and that means more revenue.

Here I would like to mention few steps which might help you someway:

1) First of all once you site is ready you must submit it to Google thorough

2) You need to understand that there can be nothing better that having a site/blog rich in content and it should be focused. If there are too many different things on your site/blog then it will result in poor ranking of your website/blog.

3) Keywords definitely play an important role (check my other blog article about the KEYWORD). So you should make use of those keywords carefully for your content. These keywords should be the keywords which match with your actual content and user will try to search using these keywords only.

4) Do not try to stuff these keywords unnecessary, else it will work negative for you.

5) Get you website/blog referred from different webpage/blogs. For this again there can be a big article but the quick way I can tell you is visit lots of websites and blogs by google search which come on top and leave you comments there. You comments can be accompanied by you blog/website URL.

6) popularize you website/blogs by sending it to your friends and request them to forward it to their friend as many as they want.

7) Keyword should be used in different way with different font and color. This also may help you some way.

8) Make sure all the links given in your website or blog is working properly.

9) You may use some of the forum like digg.com and technorati.org to promote your websites/blog. (Search more about these on internet)

10) One of the most important key is, the website or blog should keep updating as frequently as possible. Google’s crawler (the one, which reads through billions of pages everyday), checks for content updates and if found it might promote it up.

These are very basic things as far as SEO is concerned. One can not be SEO expert in a day or two.
Remember: Rome was not built in a day.

So keep searching on internet and keep updating your website/blog and have patience.
